Chado Software was founded in 1998 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Since then, we've maintained our home base in Ann Arbor, and continue to create unique controls, primarily oriented towards spell checking functionality.

In order to create our spell checking controls, we developed our own unique method of collecting and verifying dictionaries, which served as the basis for our controls and components.  Our dictionaries are unique, and don't suffer the problems with quality that many of our competitors have, since most of their dictionaries are based on public domain dictionaries.
